Our Process

How We Make High-Quality Bentonite

At SEN Global Group, we follow a meticulous process to produce premium-grade Bentonite for industrial use.

Mining

We source Bentonite from our own high-quality mines, ensuring consistency in mineral composition. Only the purest and most suitable clay is extracted, which is crucial for achieving desired physical and chemical properties.

Dying and Crushing

After mining, the raw Bentonite is sun-dried under controlled conditions. This natural drying process helps preserve the clay’s structure. Once dried, it is mechanically crushed to break down large lumps into smaller particles for easier grinding.

Grinding

The crushed clay is finely ground into powder or granules, depending on the end-use (e.g., foundry, drilling, or civil engineering). We use modern grinding technology to achieve uniform particle size, which enhances performance and usability.

Activation

For certain applications, such as drilling mud or cat litter, the Bentonite undergoes chemical activation (usually with soda ash). This process improves the swelling capacity, viscosity, and bonding strength of the clay.

Lab Testing

Every batch is thoroughly tested in our in-house lab for pH level, swelling index, moisture content, and montmorillonite content to ensure it meets international quality standards before packaging.

Packaging

The final product is packed in moisture-proof, high-strength bags (e.g., laminated PP or kraft paper sacks). This protects it from humidity and contamination, ensuring a long shelf life and easy transportation.
